Treatment

Below is our treament we used to identify all of the information about the project we are undertaking.

MUSIC PROMO VIDEO
NARRATIVE

-Couple come out of photo booth. Band foes in to start the song off and there is a progression of narrative acted out through the lyrics.






PERFORMANCE (band, solo artist etc.)

1)     Band Performance
2)     Photo booth singing
3)     Story of the song (narrative)
4)     Band footage of people getting ready




MISE-EN-SCENE (actors, location, props, costume, lighting etc. )

-In total minimum 28 people maximum 56, props are intentionally random and individual to our actors the photo booth and for the band scene it will be darker and concert like.




INTERTEXTUALITY

-references to Rockstar by Nickelback (numerous actors lip syncing) and I Wanna Be Loved by Elvis Costello ( the photobooth)




CAMERA (angles, movements, shot sizes)

-Photo booth close ups/mid shots interchanging band shots eg. Extreme close ups of instruments and band, wide shots of band over the sholder of people getting ready.






EDITING (pace, style, slow motion, special effects)

-Fast paced edit, flashes from photo booth to change from actor to actor





DIGIPAK COVER

-Suits for costume in standing importantly in front of a rave/party scene




Title

-Teens – Young Adults in their early 20's









Target Audience

The reason we chose our target audience as we did in the treatment, is because our chosen track is very popular in night clubs and is aimed at the generation we have listed. Our video is modern and contemporary but with a contrasting "old fashioned" effects in our video.
